How the movie "Inception" raised some interesting questions in my mind?

I would like to discuss in this post that how this movie can bring meditative state in our life and how this movie raised some interesting questions in my mind. "Inception" is the movie that released around 8-9 months ago. I liked the theme of this movie and I recommend watching this movie. For those, who have not watched this movie, it is good to discuss some points about this movie.

The whole movie revolves around our dreams. The movie is about getting in somebody's dreams and then extract any private information. For example, I intentionally come in your dream and extract something private. The concept of this movie is not so simple because the movie included the concept of layers of our dreams. Lets take an example again, I come in your dream, and in your dream I ask you to sleep. You sleep in your dream and I come in your dream that you are taking in your dream. So, I entered in the second layer of your dream. The process goes on following third layer and fourth layer. Its not convenient to discuss all the aspects of this movie but that much is sufficient to discuss the points, I came across. These points are really mysterious for all of us and can act as a revolution for our life.

What are the different things, I extracted from the movie?

Live life like a dream. Start imagining now that your life is a dream and it might be possible though. What are we considering now a real life, might be our first layer dream and our usual dreams that we see while sleeping, might be our second layer dreams. I am not saying that somebody is trying to extract information from us in this way. I mean, what if the whole infrastructure of life is a first layer dream then this dream ends with our death and, then we wake in a new world that is beyond our imagination. This thing can be used to attain positive attitude towards our life.

If something bad is happening in your life, you can stick to the thoughts that I have just discussed. "Real life is not real but it is just a first layer of our dreams". It will take all your worries away because this concept brings mysterious nature about our life. Every bad thing happens in your life, start thinking that this life is not real but it is just a dream. The things will change eventually. Your positive frame of mind will attract positive things in your life. My work here is not to encourage you to do something wrong. I am not asking you to hit somebody hard and considering it as a dream. I am just asking you to enter in this mysterious life. Ask yourself such questions, your worries will fade day by day. This life is so mysterious, there is a lot beyond our present imagination, feelings, vision. It is always good to think about this mysterious life because it soothes our mind with some interesting questions. It makes us to enter in a different zone and it is not different from any meditation.

Questions you can ask to yourself after reading this post

1.Is this life real or it is just a first layer dream?

2. Does this dream ends with our death and we find ourselves awake in a different world, where the things are beyond our imagination.

Try to think about the points that I have discussed. It will work like a meditation for you in every sense.

Mirror Gazing Meditation Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh

This meditation technique is one of the strangest technique that I have come across. I will personally try this meditation as soon as possible. These days, I am working on some other technique. This technique needs some courage to start. You will get to know why I am saying that about this meditation technique.

How to do Mirror Gazing Meditation by Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh?

Take one mirror and a candle in a dark room. Place mirror in front of your face and light the candle such that you should not be able to see the candle in the mirror but candle's light should be kept on your face. Start staring in your eyes and try as hard as you can for not to blink. Let the tears come but resist blinking. Do it for about forty minutes and with in two three days, you will be able to stare in your eyes continuously without blinking.

After two three days, a strange thing will happen. You will see your face changing shapes. You may get scared at this point but all these faces belong to you. The face you are seeing may belong to your past lives. All these images are coming from your subconscious mind and belong to you. After about a week, you will see your face as flux. Many faces will be coming and going in a lesser time. After about three weeks of time, you will not be able to remember your face at all as you have seen lots of faces in the mirror. You are only able to remember your face because you have seen one face constantly in the mirror throughout your life.

After three weeks, on any day you will see void in the mirror. There will not be any face at all. This is the real moment where all the deceptions will fall.

I have not personally tried this meditation technique but I will soon do it and will write my own experience about this meditation. Lots of people have tried mirror gazing and they have really experienced what I wrote above. There are different explanations present in this world for this strange phenomenon. Some people say that we get connected to the spirit world and mirror in one of the way to do it. Some say that we can see our deceased loved one through this method. Medical Science has its own explanation and they say that these are just hallucinations but Science is not able answer all the questions about this existence at all. Science does not even know what meditation really is. Even some doctors and researchers have done research on this technique and they connect mirror gazing with past lives.

The truth is beyond our imagination and it cannot be explained. When, I say that truth cannot be explained. Actually, I tried to explain it in some other way and it also made my that sentence useless.

Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh Watching Space between your Breaths Meditation

We inhale and exhale during breathing but there is an empty space between these two when nothing happens. This moment comes for very small amount of time. It is as small as thousandth part of a second. You inhale then comes a point when your breathing stops and then your breathe comes out. When you exhale, a point comes again when your breathing stops and then your breathing starts in the reverse direction. When your breathing turn inward or outward, there is a point when you do not breathe. In this moment, meditation is possible, whenever you are not breathing you are not present in this world. Try to understand it, when you are not breathing, you are dead. You are but you are dead. This moment is so small that you are not able to analyze this moment.

Breathe taken inward is like a new birth and exhalation is like death. After each cycle of inhalation and exhalation, you die. There is a very short time between inhalation and exhalation. You can be aware of this moment through dedication. You would not need anything if you become aware of this moment.

You do not need to alter your breathing. Just breathe normally. It appears to very easy method to know the truth. The meaning of knowing the truth is to know what never gets born or die.You may be aware of inhalation and exhalation but you are never aware of the space present between these two.

How to do "Watching Space between your Breaths Meditation" by Osho Rajneesh?

First try to be aware about the inhalation process. Just watch your breathe. Forget everything but be aware about your breathe that you are taking in. When breathe touches your nostrils, feel it. Then, let your breathe to enter and follow it with awareness. Do not try to be ahead of your breathe and do not lag behind it. Just move together with it. When your awareness is moving together with it, it is possible to catch the point which is situated between inhalation and exhalation.

When exhalation starts, let your awareness to move together with your breathe and keep repeating this cycle. Mahatma Buddha specifically used this technique. Mahatma Buddha called this technique "Anapanasati Yoga". Enlightenment of Mahatma Buddha was based on this technique.

If, you keep practicing about your awareness on your breathing, you will eventually reach to an inner point. As your awareness will become more sharp and deep on your breathing, the whole world will be left outside.

Whenever you are moving with your breathing. Suddenly, you become aware that there is no breathing. You will feel that you are not inhaling or exhaling at all. Your breathing has stopped and this moment brings the feeling of Godliness.

When you are doing some work, it is normal and easy to remain aware. When you are sitting calmly, it is more likely that you will start falling asleep. When you are laying on your bed, it is more difficult to remain aware because the conditions will force you to sleep. On the other hand, if you are involved in some work, you cannot sleep but you try to keep yourself aware.

Sometimes runners, joggers and swimmers experience strange things. You might not have heard that such physical exercises can act as meditation too. Such people sometimes experience sensations of meditation. They usually get surprised because they were not expecting this to happen. They were not running to find such a thing. Who thinks that a runner will feel Godliness?

If, you used to run early in the morning. You might have experienced a strange thing. Early in the morning, positive energy rises all over the world. You feel more fresh and relaxed at this time. A moment comes while running when runner vanishes but only running remains. This appears to be a strange phenomenon. The whole science of religion or meditation talks on this principle. When only the work which is being done remains whereas, the worker is not there anymore. In this moment your body, mind and soul work together. Suddenly you feel inner joy that can be called as Godliness.

Runner may think that it merely happened because of running. It was just a good day and that moment was just because of good day but runner can enter in meditation more easily than any other normal human.

Jogging can be very helpful. Swimming itself is very helpful too. Leave all the old assumptions about meditation like you have to sit under a tree and make some difficult moves. Those methods are one of the many methods to meditate. Those methods might be suitable for some people but not for all. For a small child, those methods would be more like a torture rather than meditation.

How to do Running, Jogging and Swimming Meditation by Osho Rajneesh

Start running early in the morning. On the very first day, you may run up to five hundred meters but keep increasing the distance slowly up to three miles. Use your whole body while running. Do not wear very tight clothes while running. Run like a small child. Take deep breaths till your stomach. After running, sit under a tree and rest.

Sometimes stand with bare feet on earth and feel warmth and tenderness. At this moment whatever earth is going to give you, imagine it and let it flow through you. Let your energy to flow into the earth too. Feel yourself connected with the earth. If, you are connected with the earth then it means you are connected with life and your body. You will become very sensitive in this way which is the main goal.

Never become an expert in running. Always be an amateur runner so that awareness can be kept while running. If, you feel that you have become an expert in running or the running has become automated then drop it and start trying other exercise. Keep shifting from one exercise to other exercise if you have the same feeling. Always remember that any physical exercise is just the platform to make you feel aware. Any physical exercise is meant to create awareness within you. If, it cannot then it has become useless. It is the time to pick something else.

In spite of that few individuals came into existence who were peaceful and calmed. We can make people peaceful if, we allow people to throw out their frustration, eagerness and anger from them.

First Phase of 15 Minutes Gibberish Meditation by Osho Rajneesh:

You can do this meditation in a group or just sitting alone. Close your eyes and start talking non-sense. In other words, I can say that start making noises that even you cannot understand. Doing so, you are throwing out useless things from your mind. Mind always understands things in the form of words that you can understand. Gibberish language breaks this old infrastructure and it enables us to throw out our useless thoughts without suppressing them.

Second Phase of 15 Minutes Gibberish Meditation by Osho Rajneesh:

Lay down straight on your stomach and feel that you and the whole earth are one. Whenever you exhale, feel yourself getting swallowed by the earth.

Gibberish Meditation should be taught to each individual in this world. It will help in preventing insanity. Doing this meditation can appear funny or insane to some people but slowly you will get used to it. It makes all your garbage of mind to come out from you.

The main idea behind this meditation is also to prevent you from saying wrong things to other people. It is good to empty yourself first so that you do not say anything wrong to others. If, we abuse someone then that particular impression stays in the mind of the individual for a long time and it irritates him or her. People have their own garbage present in their minds and they cannot handle it properly. It makes things worst if you start throwing your own garbage on them.

The better way is to throw it on the non living things by talking Gibberish and empty yourself. We can make this whole world very peaceful if this meditation can be learnt by each individual.

This chakra breathing meditation can help you to be aware and experience about the seven chakras. This meditation requires fast breathing and physical moves. It requires special music which makes it more convenient and easier. This music can be purchased from the internet and it is also not expensive.

First Phase of Chakra Breathing Meditation Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh

Spread your legs equal to the width of your shoulders. Let your body relax. Close your eyes and start fast breathing through your mouth and let the breath go till your first chakra. Imagine that your breath is going deep till your belly button where the first chakra is located. Exhale with the equal speed as you inhale. keep doing this until you hear sound of a bell which means taking your breaths now till the second chakra. Increase the speed of your breaths as you move from the first chakra to the second chakra. Increase your speed in such a way that when you reach seventh chakra your pace of breathing should be almost double to that when your breathing was on the first chakra. You can move or shake while breathing if it is suitable for you in breathing exercise but you are supposed to keep your feet at the same place.

After seventh chakra, you will hear three consecutive sounds of bell. Let your breath turn now and go through in the reverse direction from the seventh chakra to the first chakra. You have two minutes to return from the seventh chakra to the first chakra. After the end of this sequence, stand relaxed for sometime. This sequence of downward and upward breathing is repeated thrice. If, you do not feel energy of your chakras then allow more breathing to reach that chakra. Remember that you do not need to push breathing but make breathing and your moves like a bridge between you and the energy of each chakra.

After repeating all the breathing sequences thrice, close your eyes and sit calmly. When you are sitting, do not concentrate on any specific object. Whatever is happening, remain a witness to that without getting involved in that.

Positive thinking always brings positive energy

You must have heard from lots of people that we should think positive. The idea behind this saying is that positive thinking attracts positive energy which brings happiness in your life. Even the scientists have started looking in this way. You can listen to the views of different scientists and philosophers in the movie "The Secret". If you did not watch this movie yet then you should watch it today after reading this post. I will be focusing on that movie in this post. I recommend watching this movie once a week to those people who are depressed and frustrated. This movie can transform their way of life completely.

What is the idea in "the secret" movie?

Scientists say that every thought has a certain frequency and each thought attracts similar things in our life. A positive thought attracts positive things where as negative thoughts will attract bad things in our life. This is called law of attraction. Now, the people may get afraid of negative thoughts as it is not easy to control our thought process. Scientists say that a positive thought is hundreds of times stronger than a negative thought. Therefore, this thing eliminates our fear from negative thoughts completely. I am not saying that your present thoughts are responsible for your present life but I am saying that your past thoughts are responsible for your present life.

You can have anything you want to have in your life through your thought process. You may be wanting health, wealth, dream partner or anything else. Just start thinking in that direction and make images in your mind like you have already achieved that thing in your life. It will start attracting that thing to you automatically. You just need to be patient in this. Universe automatically replies to our thought process and universe does not take care of what kind of thoughts you are having. Constant amount of negative thoughts will bring misery in your life where as positive thoughts will bring joy and happy moments in your life.

What is our role to achieve something?

Our role is to attain positive attitude towards life and clear thoughts about what we really want. Don't get negative at any point. Universe will bring a particular moment in the future when you will be able to see that wish completed. Let's take an example that you wish to earn $100,000 in one year. Constant thoughts about it and making pictures in your mind will bring you an opportunity which you will have to grab. Just thinking about your wish would not fulfill your wish. You have to wait for the moment of opportunity and then grab it instantly.

There are many aspects in the movie which have been reflected very well and I think it is a must watch movie for all. It is the movie produced by Rhonda Byrne who herself wrote a book "The Secret" from where she got an inspiration to make a documentary film.

Idle Mind is God's workshop

Once Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh said that Idle Mind is God's workshop. I believe it to be a universal truth. I wish I would be able to know this truth as Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh. He also said that believing would not be making any difference at all but knowing will make a difference in your life. I will try to write here my understanding of this saying.

As most of the people agree with the saying "Idle Mind is devil's workshop" but it is genuinely a false belief. I would not say that it is false from their sense but it is absolutely true in their sense. To understand that it is false, we have to dig deep down to its root.

According to the so called intellectuals the saying "Idle Mind is devil's workshop" is true in their sense because as per their understanding human mind will enter into wrong doings if it is not involved in at least something. You have to keep yourself busy in something. You should keep yourself busy in earning money, playing, travelling and other works so that your mind which is not in your control does not make you fall in a trouble. Your mind is bound to make you fall in a ditch if you are not involved in any work. So, those people were true in their sense because they used the word idle as far as they knew. They could not think of mind that is absolutely idle. So, they were wrongly using the word idle here that was the only mistake they committed. They used the word idle that is not absolutely idle because these so called intellectual people did not know about the state of no mind where you cannot even have thoughts. How an absolute idle mind can make you fall in troubles when it is not bringing you any thoughts then what is the point of bringing evil thoughts. So, how it is possible that it will make you to do wrong works. There is some misunderstanding which needs to be corrected now. It is not their fault to be unaware about this state but the mistake that has been made a long time ago should be corrected now.

Idle mind means absolute idle where all the thoughts and desires have vanished. If, you even cannot have thoughts then where is the probability of having negative thoughts that would lead us to wrong works? Mahatma Buddha called this state "zero" where nothing remains and out of this nothing Godliness erupts bringing contentment and gratitude towards the whole existence.

Society has cunningly invented that wrong fact to keep people busy as possible in the stupid things. People are not allowed to have their own thinking and path. If, an individual becomes free from the prison then who is going to rule this world. To rule this whole world in an innovative way, such stupid lines "Idle Mind is an evil's workshop" were invented.

What is meditation explained by a small boy

People ask number of questions related to meditation. Basically they do not know what is meditation. People also do not understand the difference between meditation and concentration. I remember a short story that was told by Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh. I think, this story clearly gave the true definition or explanation of what really the meditation is.



The very common question asked by people is what is meditation? I will start telling that story and I hope you will get solid explanation of meditation. The story is as follows.

Once there was a boy and he was trying to cross the road. There was a lots of traffic on the road and it was appearing difficult for a boy to cross the road. One man approached the boy and offered his help to the little boy. He asked him if he needs his help to cross the road. The little boy replied "No, I will cross the road myself, when I will see blank space between the cars, I will cross the road. The reply given by the little boy is of great importance. It can be easily related to the meditation.

There is no doubt that boy was not aware of meditation at all. He just replied as he could but he gave us something very important. He could have replied that I will cross the road when the cars will pass but he said that I will cross the road when he will see empty space left after the cars have passed. There is a difference between the two kinds of replies. Former reply does not know anything about the empty spaces but the later talks about empty spaces. Meditation is just watching of empty spaces between your thoughts. These empty spaces can be made longer through practice. A time comes when there are no thoughts at all and there is just an empty space left.

In meditation there are no objects at all whereas in concentration you focus on specific object or thought. This is the main difference between meditation and concentration.

Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh talked about Natraj meditation. Natraj meditation is one the different types of meditations discovered by Osho Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. It is done with the help of special music. This music plays an important part in each and every phase of meditation.

The basic fundamental rule of this meditation is dancing. By dancing, I do not mean any traditional dancing where we basically design moves. People usually control their dance moves to make their dancing appealing to others. I am talking about free dancing which is without any control of moves. Just dancing with the flow of music and enjoying it as much as possible. Feeling of playfulness is an important point to consider in this meditation.

First Phase of Forty Minutes Osho Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh Natraj Meditation

Close your eyes and dance with the flow of music. You should not try to build dance moves. Just make random moves as nature brings them to you with the music. Just enjoy as much as you can with the feeling of playfulness. You should not take this process as burden. If you are not enjoying dancing then this meditation is not going to help you. You will have to flow like water flows down slope. You will have to flow naturally with the taste of music. Do not stop yourself from making any funny or stupid looking move. Actually, no move is stupid in nature. Music pace will be changing. Thus, adjust yourself accordingly.

Some people may not like dancing but I would say that dancing is a very natural phenomenon, comes from inside and normally everybody should like it. The person who says that I do not like dancing is pretending with himself. Stopping yourself from making random movies might be possible because of cultural and social barriers. You have to free yourself from such things before trying it.

Second Phase of Twenty Minutes Osho Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh Natraj Meditation

Just lay down and relax for twenty minutes. Try to keep yourself empty from thought processes.

Celebrate dancing and enjoy music. You should involve yourself with dancing like you have forgotten that you are dancing instead you have become dance itself. If you can involve that much then only it will get differentiated from normal exercise. If, it remains normal exercise then it is definitely good for health but it would not be called spiritual. Thus, the main point in this phase is to forget yourself (the dancer) and just remember the dance. The feeling of myself should be neglected completely.

Laughter Meditation by Bhagwan Osho Shree Rajneesh is one of the simplest Meditation.

It is a well known saying that "Laughter is a medicine" and it is absolutely true. Doctors and scientists also say this thing and they can come up with many scientific reasons to prove that laughter is a remedy for good health. No doubt that most of the people understand the benefits of laughing but have you ever tried to laugh? Trying can seem stupid to people because usually we do not try to laugh as it is a spontaneous process. According to me, we can also try to laugh. You just need to create an environment around you to laugh. Hundreds of funny things happen around us daily. We just need to pick them and start laughing.

Laughter as a Meditation

Laughter plays an important role in spirituality too including all the physical health benefits. Have you ever wondered that when you laugh, the thought process disappears completely. You enter in a state of meditation where there are no thoughts. It is impossible to think when we laugh. Both the things cannot happen at the same time. It is good to understand one simple thing. People can say, we can think about cause of laughter while laughing but it is not true. Suppose, I tell you a joke and you find it really funny. You will start laughing. During laughter process, the same joke will come in your mind only when your laughter will be settling down. You again think about the same joke and it pumps more laughter for you but thinking about a joke and laughter happened at different times.

Laughter is just entering in a different zone

People are very depressed now a days. The reason of depression can be anything like problems in education, money, personal relations etc. but the results are the same. Lets take a real life example, I am feeling depressed because of my personal relations. My whole thought process will be revolving around my personal relations which will bring more sadness to me. Suppose suddenly, I find something funny and start laughing. It will distract my whole thought process and I will become a person with no thoughts. During laughter process, I will be forgetting all my troubles and miseries. I just entered into a different zone where there are no thoughts and hence I feel better.

How to do Laughter Meditation by Osho Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh?

It should be done early in the morning. When we are about to wake up, keep your eyes closed for 3-4 minutes and then start laughing with your eyes still closed. Laugh continuously for five minutes. You may find difficult to laugh without reason but keep trying. You will slowly enter into a natural laugh with practice.

Hotoi was well known as a laughter machine in Japan. He used to move from one place to another and he continued laughing all the time. People used to analyze him and start laughing. His laughter was so magnetic and hypnotic that nobody could resist laughing. He kept rolling on ground while laughing. People used to wait for him, when he will be passing through their city and the whole city will be turning into a laughter city. He didn't say a single thing to anyone. People questioned him about everything but he just laughed. Laughter was his only message to the whole world.

Feeling that "you exist" is a one type of meditation from different types of meditations by Osho Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. I will try to explain it in my words and from my point of view.

Have you ever thought that you do all the daily activities in some kind of sleepiness or unconsciousness. Just try to remind this thing, when you walk, when you sing, when you dance, do you remain aware of yourself. I think your answer would be no. We do any kind of work, our mind acts like a vagabond and it does not settle at the thing that is currently being done.

The Fundamental Rule of this Meditation

George Ivanovich Gurdjieff's techniques were closely related to this meditation technique. The fundamental rule is to remember yourself always. George Gurdjieff's whole teachings were revolved around this method. Everything you do, remember yourself. It seems to be an easy technique but it is not. You will keep forgetting yourself again and again. Try with this article, remember yourself while reading this article. Be aware of yourself while reading this article. Eventually, you will get lost in other thoughts. It is difficult to remember yourself for more than 3-4 seconds. When you start focusing on yourself, it will appear to you that you can do it easily but you will have other thoughts within a moment. When you think that you are thinking of yourself, even then you have lost the process because you need to feel about yourself but not to think about it.

How to do this Meditation by Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh?

Whatever you do, don't forget yourself in it. Don't use words to remember yourself but feel yourself. If anybody touches, your job is not to just feel touch but you need to feel the one who is being touched.

You are wandering from here and there. There are trees, air, sun etc. You are surrounded with the whole world. You are aware about these things. Stop for a moment and realize about yourself being there. This moment can stay for few seconds but it would be moment of reality. This meditation can be done at anytime or it does not require any specific time. You cannot make excuses to avoid it. You cannot say that you do not have time to try this meditation. You can do it while doing any work like eating, drinking, walking, sitting, bathing etc. Whenever this technique comes in your mind, feel yourself.

According to my point of view, one should use reminder to try this meditation. We all get so much busy in our daily life, we will forget to realize ourselves. You can use phone reminder that vibrates every 15 minutes or 30 minutes as you like. You can also place a card in your wallet that can remind you about it. It is better to have awareness of yourself as much as possible.

Smoking meditation does not encourage anyone to smoke and it is the main point here to understand clearly. According to my point of view, it is just a shadow of most of the meditations by Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh because the fundamental rule is the same which is awareness. There is a story connected with this meditation. When you will know the whole story related with this meditation, you will be getting more acceptable to it.

Once a man visited Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh. The man was a chain smoker and he had been smoking for thirty years. He wanted to quit smoking and he made every effort that he could. He also had suffered a lot in trying to quit smoking. He always failed and could not quit smoking. People who smoke a lot can feel that if they do not smoke for sometime, they can feel a severe urge to smoke. It is very difficult to quit smoking. I would like to rise a question here that can you quit taking coffee or tea if you are in a habit of having four cups daily. I think, you would not be able to do it. We can't get even get rid of coffee or tea then smoking is a lot more ahead of it. Smoking has been considered wrong ethically because of the health issues but if we compare coffee, tea and cigarettes on the grounds of being habitual only then there is not much difference among them. They are almost equally bad.

Lets come back to the story again. A man visited Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh and he had no respect for himself as he could not even quit smoking. He was looking for his suggestion. Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh replied that nobody can quit smoking so easily especially when somebody is smoking for thirty years. It has become your permanent habit. For you, it is not different from walking, sitting, eating, drinking etc. Its not even a question for you to quit smoking. Mind is impotent, it can adopt things easily but cannot surrender easily. So, Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh suggested him to forget about quitting.

On the other hand, he recommended him to smoke and enjoy it fully while being aware. He said that everything can be a meditation. Smoking can be a meditation itself. You just need to be fully conscious while smoking, touching the cigarette, having its taste, filling the lungs with smoke, exhaling and even touching the cigarette pack when you take cigarette out from your pocket. Just be fully aware of what are you doing. The man felt astonished but he was deeply interested in it as he could not imagine smoking as a meditation. Osho told him that if you can do all these things, the day will come when smoking will seem stupid thing to you. If you cannot do it then do not worry about quitting. The man took his advice and came back after three months. He had quit smoking that time.

Summary of this meditation is not to ask anybody to smoke but if anyone could not quit smoking then there is nothing to worry about it. Smoking itself can be a meditation. You just have to remain aware while smoking. It will automatically make you feel after some days that smoking is a stupid thing to do. If smoking can be a meditation then everything like sitting, standing, speaking, listening etc. can be a meditation. Just remain aware of what you do. The whole world would look wonderful to you.

This meditation also requires a special type of music which was recommended by Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh. This music plays an important part in all the phases of meditation. This music can be searched over the internet and can be purchased. This meditation has four phases and each requires fifteen minutes.

First phase of fifteen minutes Gourishankar Meditation

Stand and close your eyes. Have a deep breath and fill your lungs with air. Hold for as long as you can. Now, release slowly through your mouth. Keep your lungs without oxygen for as long as you can do. Now, take a deep breath again and repeat the whole process. keep doing all this process for fifteen minutes.

Second Phase of fifteen minutes Gourishankar Meditation

Keep your body static and breath normally. Try to concentrate at the flame of a candle. Remain relaxed while concentrating on the flame.

Third Phase of fifteen minutes Gourishankar Meditation

Keep your eyes closed and stand up. You have to make yourself receptive in this phase. Just make your body loose completely and let your body to move as it wants. Don't try to control its movements. Let it happen naturally. You have to flow with the stream of river in this phase. By saying this, I meant to be that much receptive. Don't conflict with anything and express your body movements freely. Don't let thoughts to come in your mind.

Fourth Phase of fifteen minutes Gourishankar Meditation

Lie down and keep your eyes closed for fifteen minutes. Feel relaxed in this phase.

Important points to consider

1. It should be always done with a special music.
2. Keep all the phases isolated from one another. Don't give more or less time to any phase. Otherwise, it would not be giving full benefits to you.
3. Practice makes the man perfect, keep trying this meditation according to the points mentioned. You will be feeling better by time.
4. Always have a sense of enjoyment while doing it.

It is better to do this meditation type, twice in a day. The most appropriate time to do this meditation is early in the morning, when you have just wakened. Do it just before getting up from your bed. At the time, you feel that you have wakened, start doing it for at least twenty minutes. This time is preferred for this meditation because one feels very fresh that time and it helps in making this meditation more effective. At day time, when you wake up, the whole world wakes up. At this time, there is a flow of positive energy. Your work is not to lose an opportunity to use this energy.

People prefer praying early in the morning because rising of the Sun is considered rising of all the positive energies. At this time, you can utilize the flow of this energy. It would be difficult to use it later, when energies will be settling down. This meditation type does not require any special kind of music or posture.

How to do Swarnim Prakash Meditation by Osho Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh?

Just keep laying straight on your bed. Close your eyes. When you inhale, imagine that a very bright light is entering your body through your head and leaving from your feet. When you exhale, imagine a very dark night is entering your body through your feet and leaving from your head. You should take long breaths so that you can get the sufficient time to imagine the things easily. Imagining about bright light will help to make you feel fresh. The darkness will help to calm you. Let the darkness go out from your head. Do this process for twenty minutes.

The second most appropriate time to do this meditation is at night, when you are about to sleep or when you have started feeling drowsy. Lay on your bed and wait for the time, when you start feeling drowsy. When you feel that you are somewhere between sleepiness and not being sleep, start doing it. It is even better, if you sleep naturally while doing it. Its effects will continue in your subconscious and will continue doing its work.

Prarthana Meditation by Osho

Prarthana means prayer. It is not much different from doing prayer but the main point is the feeling of gratitude and building of energy. It is better to do this meditation at night before sleeping. It can also be done at day time but it is necessary to have fifteen minutes rest after doing it. This rest is necessary, otherwise you would feel yourself in a sleep. It is the main reason to prefer it at night time before sleeping so that anybody can have proper rest immediately after doing it. This prarthana meditation can change you and when you change, the whole existence changes automatically.

How to do Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh's Prarthana Meditation?

Raise your both hands up and keep your fists open. Keep your head straight. Now, try to feel that the whole existence is flowing from with in you. Try to feel that energy is entering from your hands and flowing downwards, you would start feeling vibration. Let, this vibration happen and do not interfere with it. Your role is to help building more vibration and energy.

Now, try to leave yourself. By leaving yourself, I mean to imagine yourself a part of whole existence. You are not different from existence but you are a subset of existence itself or you are an existence itself. After two or three minutes, when you start feeling build up with energy, bend yourself and touch ground with your hands and forehead. Act like an intermediate between energy and earth so that energy can meet earth.

Repeat this process for at least six times so that all the chakras can open. It can also be repeated more number of times but it is necessary to do for at least six times. If, you do less than six, you would be feeling uncomfortable and may find difficulty in sleeping.

After repeating it for at least six times, keep this feeling of prarthana and sleep in the feeling of gratitude. You will keep flowing with energy while entering in a sleep. It helps a lot because energy will be surrounding you for whole night and will be doing its work. You will feel very fresh and active after you wake up in the morning. You would not have felt such freshness before in your life. It would feel like, a new life has entered your body. You will remain filled with this new energy all the day.

Kundalini meditation is also done with a special type of music. This music plays an important part in the whole kundalini meditation process. The whole meditation process has four phases and the duration of each phase is fifteen minutes.

The very first phase of kundalini meditation by Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh

Leave your whole body lose and start vibrating your whole body. Try to feel that energy is being lifted from your feet in the upward direction. Concentrate completely on vibration process. Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh said don't vibrate but you should become vibration. He meant that you should involve as much as possible in vibration process.

The second phase of kundalini meditation by Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh

You have to dance in this phase. Dance in the way you like but it is better to dance naturally without making moves. Just move your body naturally with the music. The main part of this phase is to flow the whole body with the sense of music.


The third phase of kundalini meditation by Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh

Close your eyes. You can either sit or stand closing your eyes. Now try to be witness to what is happening inside you and around you. Don't let thoughts come in your mind, you have to be pure witness. If any image is coming in your mind regarding your life then just remain witness to it. You do not need to think if it is good or bad.

The fourth phase of kundalini meditation by Bhagwan Shree Osho Rajneesh

Just lay down on the ground and keep your eyes closed. Your job here is to feel relaxed.

Some tips about this Kundalini meditation

1. When you vibrate in the first phase, it is better not to do vibration but let the vibration happen. Initialize it first then let it happen itself.

2. Enjoy during vibration process. The main point in this meditation is to feel just vibration without the presence of yourself.
